The Garden
Mary Wade’s lovely gardens have been a haven
of beauty and peace over the years. Joyce Harris, a member of the Board of Managers, recently received the 2007 Carol English Stancliff Award for Excellence in Horticulture from the Garden Club of New Haven for her design of our gardens.
Our garden includes sculptured
walkways, birdbaths and comfortable benches. Plants and bushes
are donated by staff, visitors and family members in the spring
of each year. Our garden is considered one
of the loveliest in New Haven.
