Adult Day Center Recreation Calendar for September

Seven days a week the Adult Day Center offers to residents and members of the Greater New Haven community:

Socialization and recreation
Licensed nurses trained in geriatrics
Intergenerational programs
Medical monitoring
Medication administration
Transportation to and from the center
Other services include physical therapy, a beauty parlor, rehabilitation, therapeutic diets and more.
A specialized and separate Alzheimer’s program. This wellness program operates seven days a week, with activities designed for the unique challenges of those with Alzheimer’s.
A full hot lunch and snacks are provided.
Certified by the CT Association of Adult Day Centers, Inc. and the State of Connecticut, with transportation and funding provided.

“The Facility is very spacious, bright and clean and groups of clients were actively involved in several different activities; including stretching exercises, playing bingo, stringing beads, painting wooden models, current events discussion, and several clients were sitting by themselves reading. Staff was very supportive of the clients and there appeared to be good interaction between them. The new expanded facility is now complete and includes a small “quiet area” for clients who need less stimulation.” The overall rating was “Excellent.”
